• Question: does the fact that you have to travel around mean you need to know different languages? If this is the case, what languages do you speak?

Thankfully not – languages were not strong point! 🙂 For the European projects I work on, being able to speak English is a requirement, so anyone I work with from another country would have some level of English, and they are usually quite good at it. It just means I have to speak more slowly then I am used to in Ireland! I work with a lot of people in Spain and Italy, so it would be great to have some basics in those, but because there is always a mixture of countries involved so it will always come back to be able to speak English.
