Question: Have you ever been in a situation where it had been dangerous if so how did you handle it?

In my last job (where there were huge refrigeration machines) we had an ammonia leak – which is very dangerous and can sting you eyes and effect your breathing. Luckily we had very strict safety procedures in place that were practised regularly and it was handled by our safety team from the maintenance team very quickly before it became more dangerous. Safety is hugely important and in Ireland at this stage most companies would have very goof safety systems in place – in fact they are required to by law!
