Why choose? You can do both, like me! I got my degree in Science where I specialised in Experimental Physics. I then got a Higher Diploma in Computer Science (I took 1st/2nd & 3rd year in one year!). I also got a Postgraduate Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from both Trinity College & UCD.

I’m currently working on finishing my PhD in Electronic Engineering where I specialise in Optical Engineering, which means I work with light.

You don’t only have to be one thing. I’m both a physicist and engineer and soon I might add business woman to it if I start my own company.

However, my true love is my first one, physics!
