To go into space. I’ve always been fascinated by space travel and I read a lot of science fiction books. I have a crazy imagination. I think I could be quite happy living out there in space amongst the stars. Also, on a purely selfish level, I’d be a little bit taller. No gravity in space helps you regain some of your lost height.

Coincidentally today is the first time a space craft will try to land on a comet. The ESA (European Space Agency) lander system engineer Laurence O’Rourke working on it is an Irish man from Mullingar. It’s pretty cool. There’s going to be a live stream online so we can watch it trying to land.

Two more wishes that would also come true 😉
Then I’d wish for the libraries at Alexandria to be restored and for a cure to major illnesses!

To end poverty. There is soooo much waste in some parts of the world (including Ireland) where other parts of the world have so little. I have been lucky enough to do a lot of travelling over the last few years, but because of it I’ve seen a lot of extremes in countries that are very rich and ones that are very poor. It’s annoying because there is more then enough to go around for everyone. I read somewhere that if the 100 richest people in the world put there money together they could end extreme world poverty 4 times over!
