      I’m working on how to make “SMART” lighting. It’s an intelligent form of lighting both in terms of (1) energy efficiency i.e. sensors to turn down the lights near windows if it’s really bright and (2) human physiological response. Human bodies react to certain wavelengths (colour) and this affects the circadian rhythms. Circadian rhythms are important in determining the sleeping and feeding patterns. This affects not only humans but plants and animals too.
