      I was actually contacted by someone I had worked with in the past as they knew I would probably be interested in this. I of course said yes as I think its great to get students interested and asking questions about engineering!

      To promote engineering.
      I’m involved in the Institution of Engineering and Technology and one of our main goals is to get more engineers through the doors of the colleges and universities. Its important for our future to have lots of bright educated people thinking about our problems and cool ways to solve them.

      I thought it would be fun and I really enjoy promoting engineering to the next generation… You guys will be the next googles and apples etc and I am looking forward to what you come up with.

      The money! I really want to make my Lighthouse idea and for that I need money. I had heard about it through friends of mine who had done (and won) I’m a Scientist. I also love talking about what I do
